14,175 Unread Mails. That’s how much I have spam in my Inbox. Or atleast a major percentage of it. While I will no doubt still choose GMail service over Yahoo Mail in a heartbeat, there are still quite a number of unwanted mails that make it through my mailbox.

There might not be that much pharmacy related mails, but the lottery mails are regularly still spamming my inbox. I wish there was this email facility that will be so efficient and geniusly work through my constant contact and will filter spamming emails accordingly.

When my 3 year old MSI Megabook bugged down on me permanently last month, I had no choice but to get myself a new one. It was a blessing that a fellow blogger plurked of his own experience on his own Lenovo laptop. He was raving about how durable his G Series Lenovo laptop. He accidentally poured half a liter of water on it and it’s still working without fuss. This is aside from a previous battery it took from falling off their kitchen table. With a laptop that good, it can nothing be less than a gem and that was I was gonna have. That’s one heavy duty laptop that I think only industrial computers can match up with. I did not waste a day. Because I immediately purchased one.

With the kind of work I am in, I cannot afford to not have a computer that I can work in. So far so good. Almost a month since and I am definitely loving my new Lenovo’s ability to multi-task. I got this for around 26k. Zero percent interest and the best thing is I will only start paying for it next year! Sweet!

My work from home job demands a little more than a workstation. I have to at least have a sturdy and reliable laptop, which my MSI laptop has been. I’ve had this since December 2007 and has I guess served me well. Although the battery has died on me, it works while plugged. But the thing is it overheats time and again.

I recently bought a small fan to take care of the problem. Because apparently a laptop cooler is not going to be enough. So far, so good. For obvious reasons, I do not have a laptop warranty to claim after anymore given that it is close to its third year of service. Praying that it will still hold up for another year or so. I am just not ready yet to say goodbye and budget cannot accommodate the need to have it replaced, if ever.

Nothing lasts forever. Before this post will be mistaken as something that of a “cheesy” tone, I am actually talking about my gadgets. Particularly, my three year old laptop and less than six months old netbook. I use both for my jobs that I do online. The smaller one for back up, in the event that my laptop acts up.

The number of hours I spend on the computers everyday is taking its toll on their performance. Now, I’m actually contemplating on going back to using a desktop computer instead. But I’m not doing just that without first reading through desktop computer reviews. I’ll have to make sure I get a good quality and durable desktop, if ever.

The Lord has been extremely gracious to our family even as we welcomed the new year. We wouldn’t have thought that after the catastrophe that Ondoy has left us with, we would be able to experience such blessings this 2010. We are more than grateful as we cheerfully give back what is due Him through our tithes and offerings.

Although the 1989 car is now fixed after getting submerged in the flood during typhoon Ondoy, it is not anymore as efficient as it was. It has been having hiccups and would get us nervous every so often as it threatens to get us stranded in the middle of the national road. We have been praying for a car replacement since last year. Because honestly if we sum up all the car repair costs that it’s going to need, it will all deem not not worth it anymore. We might as well pay for a monthly installment for a brand new one.

So while everybody in our online community are getting hold of their brand new gadgets like xbox 360, swooning over the recently launched iPad, et.al. We stay where we are, saving up, as if no extra income is coming. Even as the months come closer and closer until we acquire a spanking car that the Lord will bless us with.

I am so looking into getting back to ghost writing. Although I currently love what I am doing now, the jobs available online this season is currently running low. I hope my employers are just in their holiday mode and will come right back after the season is over.

The car that was fixed after it getting submerged by the flood brought about typhoon Ondoy last September 26 started acting up last week. We are really praying that we will be able to have it fixed soon, if not replaced entirely, if God wills it. We have been praying and we just find out that it never ceases to need some fixing. It is an old car that bad needs to be replaced and we really pray that the Lord will allow for us to save enough for a better one. This is why I need to do some ghost writing again. I am hoping to make myself available for employers 4 hours a day. It is the best I could give them, since I am only available after lunch. My mornings are dedicated to homeschooling my son.

This will mean I would have to do research on things that I might not even have a clue about. Or may be as interesting as things about CONCERTA and ADHD Symptoms. Writing and researching allow for me to learn more about things that I would otherwise not have an idea about, which can really be fun.

More than two months of homeschooling my son, this is the thing that keeps ringing in my head —> to start a homeschooling blog. Should I or shouldn’t I?  If it happened that I was just managing a couple or three blogs, then I would not have second thoughts.  But now that I am already having a hard time updating at least six blogs weekly, this is something that I really should reconsider.

Why do I want to create a new blog, when I clearly feel that I am multi-tasking more than this lady in the picture is.  First, after creating all these niched blogs, it just doesn’t feel right to flood my marriage blog, my beauty blog, health blog, not even my reviews blog with stuff about homeschooling.  There are just tons to share about homeschooling.  For one, I spend at least four hours a day homeschooling my son, then I might as well share whatever that is that we do together and the things that he learns.

This is something I will have to pray about first.  You will soon find out anyway.  Because if ever I do come up with another blog, then I would surely have to announce its existence sooner or later.

Before everybody concludes that I got so hooked on RC of FB, I have got to announce that it is not the reason why the less frequent updates across all my blogs.  My Core Duo laptop has been shutting down on me and looked like I have maximized its capacity.  We are currently attempting to save it by transferring files to my newly acquired 1TB external hard drive and later have it reformatted.  I have practically spent the whole day transferring files and time and again getting frustrated by the slowness of every single task that I do.  Even the loading of pages is crazy slow.

But I have to admit though, that I love that I was able to download Skyfire on my gorgeous E63.  Now I get to play RC wherever I am. I so love Skyfire.  There is practically no limit to its browsing power.  Ok, I am going to stop right here.  Because really, it totally deserves a separate post altogether.

So please allow me to get back to trying to save my trusty Megabook.  My partner for a year and a half.  I love that I now how the 1TB external hard drive to back up my tasks.  I got myself a Western Digital and again I will have to post another one on that. 

My Facebook Restaurant City account, which I fondly named Aspacio’s Diner (for lack of a better name for a diner place) is officially two days old. From a three table restaurant, it has now flourished to an eleven seater dining place. As a newbie of this simulated game, I felt oh so silly during my first attempt of running “my business.”

Imagine the hubby’s disbelief when he learned that I actually budged to at least a couple of former officemates and a handful of former schoolmates nudging me over joining these crazy Facebook applications.  He looked at me and sweetly said it was okay.  Of all people, he should understand.  After all he enjoys all those crazy online games from way (until now) He then asked all these intelligent questions (just like the online marketer that he is) if I could earn anything from it. I said no.  If the game encourages of sorts the player to buy credits or the like via PayPal or credit card. I said yes.  He thought of the brightest of ideas which I hope we could get done one way or another — make a similar program and get people to play it!

Anyway, so before that ever comes to reality — allow me to let you in  my restaurant and have a look-see and maybe when the time comes that you join in we could visit each other’s resto and trade ingredients
