WS: A sweet note I got for Friend Day :-)
One of my favorite girls, Eloisa, gave this sweet note to me last Sunday. It made Friend Day extra special.
Each one of them is my favorite. And favorite to me means special.
I have come to terms with the fact that one time or another, there will be challenges as I disciple them. But nothing is more fulfilling than seeing them grow to be the ladies that you know in your heart, God has intended for them to be. It just makes it sweeter that I have been like a mother to them way before I was officially a biological mother to my very own cutie pie, Jed. The Lord encouraged my heart during the time that we were waiting to conceive that eventhough I might not be a mother to my own flesh and blood, but I am to the girls that I have in my wings. Even yet childless back then, I was not barren after all.

Before we parted ways I asked Eloisa’s permission if I could post this in my blog and she was all smiles, even thrilled. Whenever I look at Eloisa now and look back from where we started, I can only conclude one thing. That the Lord is pleased with her decisions, every sacrifice, every single thing she has overcome through the years. She is soon to graduate in college and I am just proud of her as she continues to glorify God with her life. I look forward to that life God has planned for you. You have allowed Him to mold you to become the beautiful woman that you are now, I can only imagine how more beautiful you will become in the coming years.
Her note reads:
Ate Jen, Thanks for all the prayers, love, care, forgiveness, encouragements, counsel, help and laughters. I am truly blessed to not just an ate but also as my friend. You’re a great impact in my life. May God bless you and your family. I love you, Ate Jen! Happy Friend Day!
Love in Christ, Eloi
