Nikki
This is the name that I decided to give my dslr. She is exactly 2 months old now. I would have to say though, that despite the months and the Basic Digital Photography class that I took, my skills aren’t spectacular just yet. That’s actually putting it lightly. I have practically gone back from being more adventurous with the manual setting to getting right back to that magical P setting. I just have so much to take care of! To even bother with the setting during photo opportunities is too much of a hassle.
Meanwhile, here are some collages I made from the pictures I took via Nikki…

If you’ll read back through my previous posts, you will see that my favorite subject of all is my cutie pie, Jed.
Although we were quite fond with our Canon A620. It has proved us faithful for more 4 years. Even overcoming the immersion it had to go through in the pool. But its LCD was not able to tolerate the salty waters of Boracay. We brought it to our local Canon service center last July 4 and what do you know, almost two months in and it is still with them. Still not available for pick up.
Well, that’s a different story altogether.
Nikki was a gift given by my mother. She knows so well that I love it. Thanks again, Ma!
She was with me when I was canvassing in Gilmore looking into netbooks‘ specifications. She was the one who convinced me that I stick with my more powerful laptop and just get something else. So DLSR it is.
