Hubby working on his office table

After throwing a lot of stuff that was damaged by the flood brought about by typhoon Ondoy (ketsana) last September 26, there was no way we were buying any more non-solid wood furnishings from the mall. They are just way too expensive for the quality of wood and they are so not durable at all. The hubby made my office table a couple of months back and last Monday he worke on his office table for our home.

wood work

The only wooden furnitures that survived the flooding that happened were my son’s office and my kitchen counter. Both of which were made by dear hubby out of scrap palo china wood. There was not one trace that it was at all flooded. They might not look like >design furniture but we’d rather prioritize durability over style. The husband will work on the style later. :-)
