I’m joining the Perstaym contest
Our dear friend, Ohmski is holding a contest in his Perstaym blog and I am joining! At stake is P5,000 worth of GC from 7,107 cruise. Deadline of submission of entries is at 11:59PM of December 19, 2009.

My perstaym in Palawan was when I joined the hubby to minister to the students in Palawan National High School last July. The hospitality of the people of Palawan is more than I have ever expected. After the welcome banner and getting adorned by the beautiful people with their traditional shell necklaces, we were yet decorated by these sweet people with flowers on our chests before our first day ended.

We spent the first three days ministering to the young people of Palawan National High School using the Change of Heart program of Breaking Point Foundation which is directed by my husband locally. Our group averaged three classrooms per day, teaching them effective refusal skills. I have been doing this for more than 10 years now and I still cannot contain the overwhelming joy of how God would use such practical lessons to usher the youth to Himself. What we teach was never about religion but how to build a personal relationship with the Lord and how it will help them to refuse bad activities and influences effectively.
After days of ministry, we were able to tour a few islands on our last day. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, took several shots of the place and just relish the wonders of God’s creation. I shopped till I dropped for bling blings too! It was hard to believe how so much cheaper the items are in Palawan than in Boracay. We vacationed in Boracay a month before this Palawan trip.
